I am a photographer/videographer.
It all started for me at the age of 20, when I bought my first camera. I hoped to become a comedy filmmaker, so I used my camera to shoot my own skits for Twitter and Instagram. During this process I realized that I had to build my skills around everything related to pre and post production if I wanted to make quality videos on my own. Photography quickly became a big part of my life this way in order to plan videos. I took pictures of my friends when we hung out and I developed a street/lifestyle vibe to my photos, since I never used additional lights or a studio. I felt the best way to supplement the knowledge I got from practicing on my own was to gain a formal education of the arts as well, so I took any photography and film classes that I could in junior college on my way to San Francisco State University, eventually earning a BA in Cinema.
